The Tennessee Yankee

Born and raised in Connecticut, I decided to move to Tennessee in July of 2007 to persue a relationship and a new job! It’s hard to believe that two years have already passed so quickly, even in a state where life moves at a much slower pace than I’m accustomed to in the Northeast. During this time, I’ve been adjusting to life in the South, which hasn’t always been so easy, but it has been quite interesting.

In this blog, I’ll share my journey with you, the readers, as I explore Tennessee from head to toe to discover her beauty and charm. In the process, I secretly hope to encounter some moments that remind me of my home that I miss so much. You don’t suppose there’s any chance that we can get some serious snow down here? How about a beach? Miracles do happen!
